Is it illegal to copy keys marked “Do Not Copy / Restricted”?
No, it is not illegal.
However, copying keys that are still protected by a design patent may be illegal.
We only copy keys for which the patent protection has expired.
Is it illegal to copy fob / swipe keys?
No, it is not illegal.
We hold a valid Master Security Licence, and fob key duplication itself is not illegal.
How do you copy a key from a photo?
Once you provide a clear photo of your key, we use advanced decoding techniques to identify the exact pin depths and specifications.
Using this data, I then cut a precise duplicate using a high-grade professional key-cutting machine to ensure a perfect fit
Important Note on Appearance: Please note that the duplicate key we provide may have a different head shape or blade design than your original key (e.g., a different brand of key blank).
However, this is purely cosmetic and will not affect its functionality.
We guarantee that it will function exactly the same as your original key.
how do you copy a fob or swipe card?
Most fobs and swipe cards can be duplicated using the unique serial number printed on the front or back. Simply provide us with that number, and we can program a new one for you.
If the number is worn off or the fob is encrypted, we will need the physical fob or swipe to complete the cloning process.
Please note that for certain high-security systems (such as HID iClass, etc.), we may also require the building address (e.g., 200 Spencer St, Melbourne) to ensure correct programming and compatibility with your building’s reader
